I always wanted to add live-reloading to have a nicer writing experience, which I'm convinced helps write more and better articles. The goal was to have the whole cycle take under 100 ms. Currently it takes ~50 ms which is great. Nearly all of this time is taken by Git to get the list of articles including the 'created at' and 'modified at' dates. Not much to optimize here, short of doing a manual stat(2) call to circumvent Git.
